Welcome to Winter, a magical season for feasting and entertaining, with food providing the ultimate comfort. This is the time when brassicas like brussels sprouts, broccoli and cavolo nero really come into their own and Jess shows you how to make the most of them in your daily cooking. Leafy citrus inspire simple puddings. Beeswax candles light up our studio. The fragrance of nutmeg, cloves and cinnamon simmering away in mulled apple juice on the stove really gets us into the festive spirit!

In this 3 hour session, Jess takes you step by step through her seasonal menu. Tasting each course as you go, you will learn the skills required to recreate each dish in your own kitchen.

Jess brings her wealth of food experience to these intimate sessions, so you’ll pick up lots of tips and tricks from her many years of cooking at Elliott’s, writing cookbooks, testing food columns and food styling. You’ll gain knowledge on how to choose and use Winter’s produce in your home cooking and notes on how to serve and style food to impress your guests. Sessions have an informal atmosphere so there’s plenty of time to chat to Jess and ask questions throughout. We recommend you arrive very hungry!

Ticket includes: Welcome snack and drink, seasonal main and pudding, drinks on the table, plus an exclusive gift and recipe booklet, so that you can confidently recreate Jess’s menu at home.

This Winter 2023 menu is vegetarian. Please get in contact to check on dietary requirements before booking. Most of the time we can adapt the menu and cater for everyone, but please do check first.
