Jess is independently publishing a series of cookbooks and releasing a new title each year.
She writes, tests and photographs the recipes in Elliott’s Studio. The books are printed by a family-run press in Wales using sustainably-sourced papers.

‘Weekend Recipes. Joyful plates of food from my Edinburgh Studio’ – Out August 2025
In this next title, Jess guides you through the chapters of breakfast, lunch, afternoon baking, dinner and pudding. Covering everything from curry butter eggs for the morning, sweet roast pepper, charred silverskin onion and parmesan crostini for mid-day, to spaghetti and oregano-meatballs followed by blackcurrant pavlova with lemon and bay custard for the evening. The is the book for leisurely hosting and pleasurable moments in the kitchen.
